I use watercolor paint to create portraits of loved ones, pets or people, and landscapes. Please use the form below to request a commissioned painting, read on for more info.
I primarily paint portraits of pets/people and landscapes. Photo references will be an important component of this work. Often using several pictures of different views helps to best capture the personality of the pet/person. Once the commission is established, we will have several conversations to collaborate on the idea that you envision.
If the commission is for a landscape, we will discuss the place's importance and work together on the vision before I begin composing.
If the commission is a gift for a loved one, please be sure to include any timelines that are involved so the painting will be ready in time.
deposit
To reserve your commission, a signed agreement and a 50% deposit are recommended, both of which can be handled digitally.
The deposit is non-refundable, with the remaining balance payable upon completion of the artwork. Should you decide to cancel the project, your deposit can be used toward any original art available on my website.
process
Once the agreement is established, I will work closely with you during the sketching and drawing process. I will do a couple of rough sketches with colors blocked in and share them with you before I start painting to make sure the vision is what you want.
The painting timeline varies, depending on subject matter and size. I will be honest with you when we have our first initial conversations on how long I feel it will take. Once the painting is finished, we will finalize the payment and start the delivery process.
delivery
Paintings are provided unframed and signed on both the front and back.
I offer secure, tracked shipping for international orders. If we’re local, we can arrange for you to pick up the painting in person or for me to deliver it directly to you.

As mentioned above, 50% of the price is required as a deposit, before we start working on the painting. The rest is due upon final delivery. Payment can be made via direct bank deposit, credit card, or invoice. Let me know your preferences. These prices do not include shipping.
